Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Garage Manager ("the Service") is operated by Tunelo (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2026/298503/07), a private company incorporated in South Africa. References in these Terms to "we", "us", or "our" mean Tunelo (Pty) Ltd.

2. Acceptance

By signing up for or using the Service, you (the business or individual creating an account) agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

3. The Service

Garage Manager is a software-as-a-service platform for automotive service businesses ("tenants") to manage clients, vehicles, invoices, bookings, and service progress. Specific features available depend on your subscription tier (FREE, PRO, ENTERPRISE).

4. Accounts and access

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for the security of your account credentials. You must notify us promptly of any unauthorised use of your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

5. Subscription and payment

Paid tiers (PRO, ENTERPRISE) are billed in advance on a recurring basis. Failure to pay may result in downgrade to FREE tier or suspension. We may change prices on 30 days' notice; existing paid periods will be honoured at the rate paid.

South African Value-Added Tax (VAT) at 15% applies to invoices issued to South African customers, where applicable.

6. Customer data ownership

You retain all ownership of the data you put into the Service (your clients' details, your invoices, your service records). We process this data on your behalf as an operator under POPIA. See our Privacy Policyfor details.

On termination, you may export your data within 30 days. After that period we will delete or anonymise your records.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send unsolicited marketing or spam through our email/SMS notification systems
  • Store personal information of customers without their consent
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent our rate limits
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance will be announced where reasonably possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by upstream providers (Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Resend, etc.).

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate accounts for material breach of these Terms with reasonable notice (immediate termination for severe abuse). On termination, see clause 6 for data export.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the appropriate South African courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect for existing customers. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
