Cancel or pause your subscription

You can cancel, downgrade, or switch billing cycle whenever you like — and you keep what you’ve paid for until the end of the period you’ve already paid. GarageManager doesn’t cut you off mid-month.

Cancel your subscription

  1. Go to Settings → Subscription.
  2. Click Cancel subscription and confirm.
  3. You keep full paid access through the end of the current billing period — the panel shows the exact date access ends.
  4. At that date the account drops to FREE. No further charges are taken.
Dropping to FREE keeps your data. Your clients, vehicles, invoices, and history stay — FREE just limits what’s active (5 clients, 5 invoices a month, no PDFs or reports). Resubscribe any time to unlock it all again.

Downgrade or switch cycle instead

  • Downgrade (ENTERPRISE → PRO): applies at your next renewal, so you keep the higher tier until then. Staff-count limits are enforced at the switch.
  • Switch cycle (monthly ↔ annual): also applies at the next renewal — no mid-period proration. You keep your current cycle until it ends.
  • Upgrade (PRO → ENTERPRISE): takes effect immediately, charging the prorated difference to your card.

There’s no separate “pause” — cancelling and resubscribing is the pause, and your data waits for you on FREE in between. Cancel, downgrade, and cycle changes are Owner/Admin only. See also Free vs PRO vs ENTERPRISE.
