Sharing a customer-facing invoice link
Every invoice has a public link your customer can open on any phone — no login, no app. They see a clean, branded invoice with your logo, and if your bank is connected, a Pay button to settle it by card on the spot.
Share the link
- Open the invoice and click Copy Link.
- Paste it into WhatsApp, SMS, or email to the customer.
- Issuing the invoice also emails the link to them automatically — copying is for when you want to send it yourself too.
What the customer sees
- The full invoice — line items, VAT if applicable, total — styled in your brand colours with your logo (paid plans).
- A Pay button when your bank is connected. They can pay by card, and where enabled, other rails.
- When they open it, an issued invoice quietly moves to Viewed, so you know it landed.
- After a successful card payment the invoice flips to Paid and they get a receipt.
No bank connected yet? The link still works and shows the full invoice — it just hides the Pay button. Customers pay by EFT or cash, and you mark it paid yourself. Connect a bank under Settings → Payments to enable in-link card payments.
The link is unguessable (it uses a random token), so only people you send it to can open the invoice. For how payment confirmation works across card, return, and re-check, see Mark an invoice as paid.
