Invite your mechanics

Add the people who work in your shop so they can run job cards and track their own labour time. You — the owner — control who gets in and what they can see.

Send an invite

  1. Go to Settings → Team.
  2. Click Invite.
  3. Enter their name and the email they sign in with, and pick a role.
  4. They get an email to sign in. Access is gated on that exact email — so use the one they actually log in with.

Which role to pick

  • Technician — works job cards and tracks time, but cannot manage clients, quotes, or invoices. The right default for a mechanic on the floor.
  • Manager — manages clients, quotes, invoices, and jobs. Cannot see billing or reconcile payments.
  • Admin — full operational access including billing and payments, but cannot invite or remove staff.
  • Owner — everything, including team management and business settings. That is you.
Only the Owner can invite people, change roles, or remove staff. The full matrix of who-can-do-what is on the Team & Permissions page.

A note on plans

FREE assumes a single-user shop, so role restrictions are relaxed there. Paid plans enforce the role matrix, and PRO unlocks multi-mechanic time tracking and seat add-ons. See Multi-mechanic sessions.
