Capture assessment photos from your phone

Photos protect you. A few shots of the vehicle before you touch it — the existing dent, the worn pad, the leak — settle disputes before they start and show the customer exactly what you found. GM stores them on the job card so they stay with the job.

Take a photo on your phone

  1. Open the job card on your phone. The Assessment Photos card sits on the Overview tab.
  2. Tap Take Photo — this opens the rear camera straight away on iPhone and Android.
  3. Or tap Upload to pick an existing shot from your photo library.
  4. Tap any thumbnail to view it full-screen; delete it from there if you grabbed a bad one.
Formats and size: JPEG, PNG, WebP, and HEIC (the iPhone default) are all accepted. Max 5 MB per photo — modern phone shots are well under that.

Tier limits

FREE plans can hold up to 5 photos per job card. PRO and ENTERPRISE are unlimited. If you hit the cap on FREE, delete an old shot or upgrade.

When you can add or remove

Photos can be added and deleted while the card is open. Once the card is invoiced or cancelled the gallery is read-only — the record is frozen with the job, so the before-photos can’t be quietly changed after billing.
