Pin services from the community library

The Service Library turns your past jobs into a searchable memory. When you hit a fault you have seen before, search the library to find how you fixed it last time — the parts, the notes, the approach. Pinning the best examples keeps them at your fingertips.

Search past work

  1. On a job card, open the Past Work tab.
  2. Type what you’re after — “knocking suspension”, “oil leak”, “front brakes”.
  3. GM expands the search across related terms, so “knocking” also finds notes that say “knock”, and ranks results — work on the same vehicle surfaces first.

Pin the good ones

Pin a job-card item to lift it to the top of the library as a reusable reference, optionally with your own title and notes. Pins are how you build a small, curated set of “this is how we do this” entries out of the noise of every job.

Pins are unlimited on your 14-day trial and on both paid plans, so you can keep a full library of references rather than only the few you use most.

The community library

Under Settings → Library there’s a Contribute to community Service Library opt-in. Turn it on to share your anonymised past-job knowledge into a wider library for other workshops, and benefit from theirs. It’s off by default — your data stays yours until you choose to contribute. Your own search and pins work regardless of the toggle.
